Brand Marketing Manager -Japanese Bilingual- We are seeking a dynamic Brand Marketing Manager to join our growing team and lead marketing initiatives for our character IP portfolio. This role will drive brand awareness, fan engagement, and revenue growth through creative campaigns and strategic partnerships in the pop culture landscape. As a key liaison, you will bridge cultural and business nuances between our global and Japanese-speaking partners and audiences.

Base pay range:

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Overview We are seeking a dynamic Brand Marketing Manager to join our growing team and lead marketing initiatives for our character IP portfolio. This role will drive brand awareness, fan engagement, and revenue growth through creative campaigns and strategic partnerships in the ever-evolving pop culture landscape. As a key liaison, you will bridge cultural and business nuances between our global and Japanese-speaking partners and audiences.

Brand Strategy & Management

Develop comprehensive brand marketing strategies for Visional Pop's character IP portfolio

Create and maintain brand guidelines ensuring consistency across all platforms and touchpoints

Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in pop culture and character licensing

Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling brand narratives and visual identities

Campaign Development & Execution

Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels

Manage product launches and seasonal promotional campaigns

Coordinate cross-promotional activities with entertainment partners and licensees

Develop fan engagement strategies that build authentic community connections

Partnership Marketing

Support licensing and partnership initiatives through co-marketing strategies

Work closely with business development teams on collaborative opportunities

Create marketing materials and brand assets for partners and licensees

Ensure brand integrity across all partnership activations

Digital Marketing Leadership

Oversee social media strategy and content planning for character brands

Manage influencer partnerships and creator collaborations

Monitor online brand sentiment and community engagement metrics

Develop innovative digital experiences that connect with target audiences

Required Qualifications

Must be fluent in both Japanese and English (written and spoken).

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

5-10 years of brand marketing experience, preferably in entertainment, gaming, or consumer products.

Strong understanding of pop culture trends and the character licensing industry.

Proven experience in campaign development and multi-channel marketing execution.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously.

Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and social media management.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in anime, gaming, or character-based entertainment industries

Knowledge of Japanese pop culture and global entertainment markets

Experience with fan community management and engagement strategies

Understanding of merchandise and licensing business models

Creative background in design or content creation
