The VP, Marketing Excellence role will be located in Atlanta or be remote based and will report to the SVP, Sales & Marketing Excellence. This key individual will lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of Marketing capabilities and skills globally, including Brand, Communications & PR, social media, as well as helping drive shared visibility and views on the competitive landscape, Product pyramids, and Price Value in the segments HMTX serves. The Marketing Excellence Team will collectively aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing through people, process, technology, and data so that marketing can achieve strategic goals including driving revenue and growth, enabling digital transformation, and leading customer centricity. The position will act as a key resource for Business Units and the Customer Experience team with data-led business analytics to drive mission-critical operational initiatives and actively work for lessening siloed thinking and building a shared view of the Customer/Consumer and Brand visibility and success. What Youll Do
Drive a Center of Excellence mindset to help build a shared view of customers and consumers and marketing support needs through a process-led approach and collaboration of marketing, sales, and customer experience functions and all operational functions that interact with the customer across business units. Align consumer and customer needs to help drive visibility, attention, and predictability for new product development projects in partnership with the Business Units as well as support for projects that do not fall within the existing business units. Bring in leading practices across marketing pillars through competitive benchmarking, partnerships, and customer engagements. Helping drive One HMTX mindset in key Marketing processes and establishing collaboration forums that aid and accelerate the same. Identify and deliver on key improvement areas through visible and measurable KPIs and bringing a customer experience as well as organizational effectiveness lens across businesses from data and technology management to process management, reporting, and analytics as well as training and education for Marketing Excellence. Oversee and direct the efforts of the marketing team to help plan, develop, and execute marketing, PR, Social, Digital, and Brand building initiatives. Develop and leverage customer insights across various platforms, physical and digital, to analyze predictive behavior and provide strategic recommendations for Customer Value Proposition for the Business Units and product lines. Define and manage the marketing excellence budget and track return on investment and help establish uniform KPIs for performance management for Marketing personnel. Support onboarding of new hires in Sales and Marketing across the company with a One HMTX mindset. What You Bring
8+ years managerial experience. 8+ years with Marketing Leadership experience. Strong Data Modeling & Analytical Skills. Experienced and adept at working in a global, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and continuous improvement environment. Exceptional listening, written, and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of management and collaborating across levels in the organization. Ability to drive data-based decision making with attention to synthesizing, organizing, and reporting information with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness. Self-starter with a high level of initiative, strong work ethic, and the ability to lead organizations and drive visible external leadership. Highest degree of integrity and ethical standards. Due to the global nature of the role, flexibility may be required to attend evening meetings, conference calls, or contribute additional work input outside of core hours. The salary range for this role is $145,000 to $200,000 a year with a yearly bonus potential. This range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employees pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
