Overview
The Marketing Technology Manager is a key individual contributor role that helps develop, implement, manage, and support marketing campaigns through technology platforms. The goal of this role is to ensure the company fully utilizes established platforms to deliver the best results by leading their deployment in the business. The role will also be accountable for managing vendor relationships, including contract adherence and implementation, ensuring vendor support to deliver KPIs, metrics, and results, and representing the platforms as a subject matter expert (SME). Responsibilities
Provide support to internal and external end users. Learn current and new systems to administer and train users. Manage platform vendor relationships and be the Single Point of Contact (SPOC). Align recommendations for potential digital platforms with company strategies. Identify opportunities to use technology to deliver content and insights through the business. Demonstrate willingness to keep up with current trends and developments in digital marketing. Be self-motivated to propose new projects and present them to the executive team. Collaborate with cross functional departments to support project deadlines and cohesion. Coordinate information needed to ensure timely delivery of marketing projects. Escalate issues and concerns regarding assigned projects to the department head. Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs. Nature & Scope
Applies advanced knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Manages projects and processes while working independently with limited supervision. Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals. Solves problems that are difficult and sometimes complex and takes a fresh perspective on existing solutions. Knowledge & Skills
Strong working knowledge of digital platforms including CMS, Ecommerce, Marketing Automations, CRM, and PIM. Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices. Established knowledge of digital marketing strategies and execution best practices. Strong analytical and project management skills. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to communicate with people at different levels of the organization (internal/external). Ability to inspire confidence and trust while holding the team accountable to results, individually or in groups. Ability to apply good judgment, decision-making skills, and strong work ethics and integrity on the job. Experience
5+ years proven working experience preferably in digital marketing. Education / Certification
BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Management or related Digital degree and credentials. People Management:
