We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer with a strong background in senior living design to join our team. The candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to support our mission of shaping the future of built environments.

Qualifications

NCIDQ Certification required.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited university.

A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in an office environment, preferably working on senior living, healthcare, commercial, institutional, higher education, or multi-family projects.

Renovation experience is a plus.

Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, and/or AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge of Newforma, Enscape, and/or Lumion is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Design Leadership:

Present confidently to clients, foster positive relationships, and lead collaborative decision-making. Generate and develop unique design concepts tailored to client needs and program requirements, focusing on vibrant, functional senior living environments.

Comprehensive Project Management:

Manage the interior design process for the entire project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the program, budget, and schedule. Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) to track internal budgets for the interior design team. Lead the selection of interior finishes and materials that reflect the project vision.

Technical Expertise:

Produce schematic designs, construction drawings, and project specifications with accuracy. Oversee construction administration, including FF&E specification creation, procurement, and installation management. Ensure coordination across all design disciplines to deliver cohesive spaces.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with internal team members, vendors, and clients, with strong organizational skills and clear communication to meet deadlines.

Marketing & Business Development:

Actively participate in marketing efforts, client presentations, and proposals to support business development goals.
