Nexon America . Summary Of Position
The Motion Graphics Designer /Editor will create visually impactful content with a collection of 2D and 3D designs, along with compositing and video editing skills. Work will be produced for media, such as trailer edits, trailer slates, title sequences, logo animation, and social media content. You’ll be responsible for producing both long and short-form content, including (but not limited to) promotional trailers, social media videos, patch update highlights, and community-driven features. In this role, you’ll work closely with our brand manager, content manager, visual designer, and community team to create a wide range of engaging video content – from tutorials and educational series to entertaining social clips that bring the MapleStory brand to life across platforms. The Motion Graphics Designer / Editor is also responsible for the creative process at different stages. Conceptualization, storyboarding, animating, slate design and editing are just a few of the phases involved. Other duties may include key-framing, typography, photography and vfx. We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model. Responsibilities
Animates titles, slates, backgrounds, character art, and 3D assets for social content and community content. Will take motion designs from concept phase to the final composition, collaborating with stakeholders such as the Brand Manager, Content Managers, Visual Designers, Community Managers and Game Capture Artists to fully realize the images, animations and designs that a project needs. Working cross-functionally and must effectively communicate concepts in graphics and/or videos using a variety of storyboard techniques, ranging from rough and refined mockups to rough prototypes. Perform post-production tasks including color audio syncing and compositing: ensure video outputs are polished and optimized for publication. Organize and manage video files, project archives, and maintain best practices for version control and delivery formats. Other duties as assigned Work Experience
3+ years motion graphics and video production experience Experience with editing and online video distribution Digital filming experience Experience with Videography Experience with game capture and game camera operation is a plus Knowledge of current social media trends and modern practices is a plus Education, Training or Certification
Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, film and/or video production or equivalent experience Knowledge/Skills
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop. Strong working knowledge in Cinema 4D Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional project and time management with ability to work on many projects concurrently, while consistently able to establish clear goals, timelines and processes for projects Must have strong familiarity with social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram and TikTok. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of teams and stakeholders inside and outside of our organization Nexon’s Benefits And Perks

The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $70,000 - $95,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. An individual’s pay is determined by factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experiences, relevant education or training, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
