Job Summary This position supports production needs in the School of Performing and Visual Arts, including stage management, production management, technical direction, lighting design, sound design, costume design, musical direction and accompaniment, choreography and movement specialists, gallery installation, exhibition support, other artistic and performance mediums and skills, etc.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in specific role in the artistic education and production process under the direction of regular faculty or staff.
- Attend all required meetings, rehearsals, etc.
- Complete all assigned tasks on time and in an efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively in the artistic education and production process.
- Respond in a timely manner to faculty and staff communications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in specific areas in the artistic education and production process. Demonstrated knowledge of practical application of specific skills, including management, design, performance, installation, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Specific knowledge of any relevant equipment in area of production, including light boards, sewing machine, scene shop tools, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with others.
