Position Summary

We are seeking a customer-first Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead the outbound communications strategy across the customer journey. This role will own project management and briefing for email and SMS outbound content, manage audience editorial calendars, and support acquisition, engagement, and upgrade initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Lead lifecycle marketing content and communication strategy for emails and SMS, partnering with brand marketing, creative performance, design, analytics, product, and engineering teams. Own and QA lifecycle journey optimizations within the CRM platform to enhance targeting and personalization, aligning with broader communication goals. Translate customer insights into strategic messaging that informs the capability roadmap for lifecycle marketing across acquisition, retention, and monetization, via data-driven strategy. Liaise with teams and leadership on project timelines, benefits, and objectives; bring best practices to optimize lifecycle program performance.

Key Qualifications

7+ years of experience in outbound communications strategy for emails and SMS, preferably in a subscription or beauty environment, with brand or product marketing experience in lifecycle marketing omnichannel programs. Experience with testing and experimental frameworks and communicating results. Strong project management skills with ability to lead sprint planning, prioritize, pivot, and analyze initiatives in a fast-paced environment; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across stakeholder levels. Proficiency in email coding using HTML, CSS, JSON, ESPs (Iterable preferred), and template scripting (Liquid or Handlebars) to enable personalization; strong attention to detail and results-driven mindset.

Salary & Work Arrangement

In the New York Area, the anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $160,00 annually (+10% discretionary bonus and equity). Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills. This role will be a hybrid position based out of our Williamsburg office and the expectation is that this person will be in the office 3 days per week. Job Details
