We are seeking a detail-oriented Deburr/Media Blasting Technician to join our client’s team on a temporary basis for approximately 2–4 months. In this role, you will be responsible for finishing precision aerospace components by removing burrs, smoothing edges, and preparing surfaces through blasting processes. This position plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality standards and product readiness for further processing or delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deburring operations using hand tools, power tools, and other finishing equipment.
- Operate blasting machines to clean, smooth, or texture surfaces to specifications.
- Inspect parts to ensure proper finishes, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare parts for downstream processes such as coating, assembly, or shipment.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Follow safety protocols, quality guidelines, and production schedules.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in deburring, blasting, or precision part finishing (aerospace experience a plus).
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
