With Season 10 launching in June 2026our most anticipated season yetwell be premiering 2530 new short films and celebrating a decade of impact. Were seeking a savvy, entrepreneurial marketing professional to help make this milestone unforgettable. Youll scout the best films, create content that excites audiences, and build a vibrant filmmaker community from our 150+ alumni. Your work will directly fuel our ability to reach millions and deepen the cultural conversation about loneliness. What Youll Do Film Research.
You love short films and you already have several in mind to recommend. You are happy to identify over 100 short films to review that align with our mission. Marketing.
You can craft messages that intrigue and inspire filmmakers to submit their short film for consideration. You can craft strategies that get our films seen by more people. Project Management.
Youll be handed a milestone-driven timeline filled with tasks that must be completed on schedule for a successful launch in June 2026. And youll need to coordinate and collaborate with film reviewers, staff, and stakeholders to make it happen. Social media acumen.
Youre not just experienced as a user of social media, you understand the strategic value of each platform and know how to leverage it based upon goals. And youre willing and happy to be the face of Project UnLonely Films as a potential strategy to promote the project. Juggling ability.
Were a small team with big goals - youll have a lot on your plate, and you wont shrink from the challenge of prioritizing and keeping up with quick turn-arounds. Who You Are A multi-talented pro with skills in marketing, communications, strategy, and project managementplus hands-on expertise in social media, short-form content, and event production. Project UnLonely: Healing Our Crisis of Disconnection , a proven portfolio of programs, and a growing team, were poised for bold, culture-shifting impact. Youll work remotely but closely with our passionate team, reporting directly to the Executive Director. This is your chance to combine creativity, strategy, and purposehelping people feel seen, heard, and connected. Please have a minimum of three years of full-time marketing experience. Also nice to have for this role: Good working knowledge of Google Workspace including sheets and presentations; Ability to work independently and use sound judgment. Candidates must be within a few hours of travel distance from New York City. The position is part-time for now up to 20 hours per week, with a possibility of growing to full-time should the opportunity present itself. Salary Commensurate to experience.
