Overview

We are seeking a visionary and executional Executive Creative Director to lead and elevate the visual and verbal identity of our clinically tested, dermatologist-approved skincare brand. This role is responsible for crafting and executing a unified brand strategy that reflects both our scientific credibility and emotional connection to consumers.

Brand & Creative Direction

  • Evolve our visual identity and tone with clarity and purpose—protect what's working, push where we need to stretch
  • Define the creative vision for the brand across packaging, campaigns, content, and community
  • Make clinical storytelling feel clear, fresh, and deeply human—without watering down the science
  • Build systems that support creativity at scale without losing our edge, joy, or identity

Creative & Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as the creative north star across the executive team, helping drive decisions that connect brand expression to business strategy
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Clinical, and Education Teams to develop launch and content strategies grounded in truth and emotional resonance
  • Identify and act on opportunities to elevate, innovate, or reimagine how we show up—across every format, from retail shelves to social feeds
  • Bring a global lens to creative development, ensuring consistency with room for cultural nuance

Team Building & Creative Management

  • Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team of designers, art directors, writers, and producers
  • Set a high bar for craft and concept—while nurturing a culture of experimentation, kindness, and thoughtful feedback
  • Ensure the team has the structure and tools to move quickly without sacrificing clarity or quality
  • Manage external agencies and partners as needed, with a strong POV on what should be built in-house

Content, Campaigns & Storytelling

  • Oversee concept and execution of brand campaigns, social series, product launches, and community moments
  • Guide the creative behind influencer collaborations, ambassador-led content, and earned moments
  • Push storytelling beyond product—introduce new visual languages, new content formats, and new emotional entry points
  • Keep the brand fun, fresh, and always evolving—while never letting go of substance or strategy

Retail & Channel Expression

  • Own brand and creative work for retail partners —ensuring consistency across shelf, site, and shopper
  • Design for context: build storytelling and visual assets that make sense across DTC, paid, organic, influencer, and in-store
  • Help the brand flex into new categories and markets while staying true to its identity

Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years in creative and brand leadership—ideally in beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle
  • Extensive experience building brands that are both emotionally resonant and strategically rigorous
  • A sharp eye for design, a refined voice, and a strong sense of what makes a brand distinct
  • Proven success in omnichannel environments (DTC + retail), with the ability to lead brand and performance creative
  • Expertise in managing, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing creative teams
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment with big ambitions and zero ego
  • An instinct for the unexpected—and a clear ability to lead with both confidence and care

Compensation

Salary around 200,000-250,000 based on experience
