This role is highly hands-on, focusing on elevating the teams design quality through visual polish, design system application, and peer mentorship . This is not a strategy-heavy roleits ideal for someone who thrives in IC (individual contributor) design work while also guiding less experienced designers to uplevel their skills and output. What Youll Do Deliver polished, production-ready UI and UX designs for search and recommendations features. Partner with junior designers to review, critique, and refine their work. Mentor and coach teammates, helping improve design quality and confidence. Apply and evolve the existing design system , ensuring consistency across look and feel. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure feasible, high-quality execution . Act as a floating design resource within Search & Recommendations, jumping in where needed to help teams deliver. Balance individual design contributions with team mentorship responsibilities. What Were Looking For 58+ years of UX/UI/Product Design experience, with at least 2+ years at a Senior Designer level . Strong visual/UI design skills , with a portfolio demonstrating polished, high-quality work. Experience working with and contributing to design systems . Ability to give clear, actionable design feedback and mentor junior team members. Hands-on experience with modern design tools (Figma preferred). Solid UX foundation, including information architecture and interaction design. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Why This Role? The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $50.00 to $70.00/hr.
