Job Description

Reboot Staff is seeking a highly organized and proactive Public Relations Assistant to support our communications and external engagement efforts. In this role, you will collaborate with the Public Relations team to help craft compelling messaging, coordinate events, and maintain strong relationships with media and stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting press releases, talking points, and public statements
  • Help coordinate press events, interviews, and speaking engagements
  • Maintain and update media contact lists and press kits
  • Track media coverage and compile reports for internal review
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging consistency
  • Support crisis communication planning and execution
  • Assist in managing PR calendars and campaign timelines
  • Monitor industry news and public sentiment relevant to our brand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a public relations or communications role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic PR tools (e.g., media monitoring platforms)
  • Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
