Job Summary:
Client Robotics Automation is dedicated to creating incredibly easy-to-use applications and interfaces, supported by outstanding documentation for end users. The Technical Writer I will be responsible for developing clear, concise technical content and maintaining a comprehensive Knowledge Base and Help Center for both internal and external users. This role collaborates closely with roboticists, UI engineers, optimization experts, deployment teams, and other subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and communicate critical information effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and write detailed technical content including workflow descriptions, installation procedures, operating instructions, maintenance, and troubleshooting guides.
- Conduct interviews with SMEs to collect necessary data for documentation.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously across various topics.
- Coordinate and oversee documentation and training material development, collaborating with designers and infrastructure teams for publishing.
- Define target audiences and organize content appropriately for different user roles in collaboration with management.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise language for diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with engineering, marketing, SMEs, and external teams.
- Experience in defining templates and formatting for technical documentation and user guides.
- Proficient knowledge of electronic publishing tools, including version control, page organization, incorporating visuals (diagrams, images), and tagging/classifying content to ensure proper audience targeting.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).
