Key Role:
Write responses to time-sensitive government requests for proposals (RFP) for federal contracts valued between $700M-$2B. Review government documentation independently. Develop work products that meet established compliance standards. Conduct research, facilitate interviews with SMEs and company leaders, and develop proposal narratives that are clear, concise, and compliant. Contribute to RFP shaping efforts. Author clarifying questions to the government. Review and edit proposal content developed by team members. Collaborate with other proposal volumes to develop compelling content. Present content, risks, roadblocks, and requirements to company executives during color team reviews. Maintain responsibility for writing compliant and compelling responses to Task Order Requests (TOR) for contracts. Work directly with client-facing teams and your proposal team to develop 10-20 page narratives capturing technical solutions, approaches, and methodologies, while also integrating technical and management approaches. Collaborate with technical SMEs, client-facing teams, and senior leadership to develop a winning story. Serve as an integral part of the team and collaborate with other technical proposal writers to communicate content development progress, needs, compliance to requirements. 7+ years of experience with proposal development 7+ years of experience leading working sessions or facilitating interviews with technical SMEs and collaborating with client-facing teams Experience working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment Experience reviewing and editing the work of others Ability to facilitate interviews and deliver presentations to groups of high-level executives Ability to understand a problem and work as part of a team to develop an optimal solution from a proposal standpoint Ability to independently research and author 10-20 page written content within tight deadlines Ability to pay strict attention to detail and translate highly detailed requirements into integrated storylines Bachelor’s degree Additional Qualifications
Experience contributing to Government proposal development, including technical volume, past performance, cost volume, staffing, or resume development Experience presenting proposal color team reviews to senior management and incorporate feedback Experience working on solutions, such as technical, management, and staffing, in an assisted acquisition environment, including AAS or FEDSIM Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation and Benefits
