Overview
Senior Marketing Specialist — VHB Locations: Richmond, VA; Williamsburg, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Atlanta, GA. Hybrid role with expectation to work at least two days in the office. Responsibilities
Actively participates in Client Focus Team and/or market meetings. Participates in Client Mapping and Client SWOT analysis and may facilitate annual Client Mapping. With the CRM Specialist and a regional pursuit pipeline understanding, assist in updating opportunities in the Pipeline. Assist with the development and creation of value propositions and pre-sell pieces. Coordinate and support development of pre- and post-award visibility opportunities for assigned pursuits in collaboration with Regional Communications Specialist. Assist with creating and communicating overall client and market visibility opportunities that promote the organization’s thought leadership. Lead the region’s complex pursuits with marketing leadership oversight as needed. Participate in pursuit SWOT analyses; identify differentiators and how clients perceive the organization and competitors. Communicate win themes and weave them into proposal sections; collaborate with graphic designers for visuals that align to messages. Identify potential teaming partners or subconsultants when needed. Work with senior technical staff to prepare proposal materials; ensure sections include differentiating win themes and are compliant, timely, and well written. Organize and coach technical staff on pursuit presentations; may facilitate storyboarding sessions. Collaborate with graphic design staff to produce materials that convey the strategic vision and align with the Brand. Mentor less experienced marketing staff and provide peer QA/QC of proposals. Lead capture planning discussions with technical team members before an active procurement. Independently write sections requiring minor editing. Minimum Qualifications
4-6 years of proposal, writing, or marketing experience in an AEC industry. BA in Marketing, English, Communications, or related discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and strong research skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. About VHB
