FleishmanHillard, a leading global communications agency, has an immediate opening for an entrepreneurial, self-starting Vice President to join our growing healthcare team. This is an exciting career opportunity for a PR professional with a passion for healthcare-related communications to work closely with FH senior management and assist global healthcare clients with their external public relations and communications activities. This role will work on leading therapeutic areas globally for one of FH’s largest pharmaceutical clients and will collaborate with other leading health clients and brands as part of FH’s growing health and life sciences practice. The position involves reputation management, advocacy relations, media relations, social media and digital integration, and marketing communications. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can guide the strategic direction of therapeutic areas, drive thought leadership, and lead a team to execute multi-stakeholder integrated campaigns." Responsibilities

Serve as a day-to-day client contact and manage work streams and teams on program implementation aimed at reaching diverse stakeholders such as patients, medical professionals, advocacy organizations, policy influencers, media, and client employees Lead day-to-day activities for the healthcare practice’s account teams, including budgeting and forecasts, overseeing projects and clients, and contributing to new business proposals and opportunities Develop and edit compelling client deliverables, including plans, research and analysis, media materials, website and social media content, client correspondence, and collateral Drive communications campaigns with healthcare and trade media; build traditional and social media relationships and engage with third-party influencers Provide team member management and development Qualifications

8+ years of experience in healthcare communications, including public relations and reputation programs; agency experience is required and experience with pharmaceutical companies is highly desired Experience working directly with clients on day-to-day activities, managing teams to execute plans, and drafting and implementing strategic communications programs within budget Significant experience in product communications, including product data milestones, regulatory approvals and ad comms, and disease awareness related to therapeutic areas Excellent creative writing skills with the ability to translate complex science into consumer-friendly messages and materials Ability to engage with senior-level decision-makers and deliver insights to drive cross-company initiatives; proven ability to build diverse stakeholder relationships Strong understanding of the media environment and established contacts in top-tier and healthcare trades; hands-on media approach required Ability to develop relationships with third-party organizations, physicians, caregivers, and to attend external meetings and events representing the agency and client Strong understanding of digital communications and social media Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, English, marketing, business or related field Results-focused approach and commitment to going the extra mile for clients and FH team members Energetic, self-starter, resourceful problem solver with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple ongoing activities Good interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate diplomatically, maintain composure under deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative office culture Our Story

The anticipated salary range for a Vice President is $77,000 - $175,000. Salary is based on experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
