Overview
Our client, an immersive destination, is hiring a Director or Vice President of Sales & Marketing to join their team onsite in NYC. The goal of this role will be to drive revenue growth and brand awareness. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with the ability to build strategy from the ground up and deliver measurable results.
Base pay $120,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive ticket sales, group bookings, and event revenue
Achieve ambitious growth targets
Build relationships with tourism partners, corporate groups, and community organizations
Create and execute integrated campaigns that increase awareness, engagement, and conversion
Position the venue as a destination for NYC locals and global tourists
Leverage experiential marketing expertise to showcase the immersive nature of the experience
Define success metrics and consistently measure/report performance
Utilize analytics to optimize campaign strategies and ROAS
Partner with ownership to ensure alignment on vision and priorities
Oversee a growing team of two direct reports
Foster collaboration with sales, creative, operations, and customer service
Manage vendors/agencies with accountability and clarity
Qualifications
Proven track record in sales and marketing leadership for experiential, high-end venues
Demonstrated success scaling businesses and driving measurable revenue growth
Deep knowledge of the NYC market and tourism landscape
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a high-exposure, unstructured environment
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Exceptional communication and influencing skills with senior executives
Creative thinker with both strategic vision and hands-on execution capability
Salary Salary: $120k - $200k annually depending on experience & level hired for
