About the Company
ThreatModeler is seeking a highly organized, results-driven Field Marketing & Community Manager to plan and execute a comprehensive field marketing strategy aligned with revenue and pipeline goals. This strategic role will collaborate closely with field sales, BDRs, marketing teams members, and third-party vendors to deliver measurable ROI. A big focus in the first 100 days will be relaunching a highly interactive and engaging online community for highly technical B2B Threat Modeling professionals. While the community coverage will be global, the role will focus on driving engagement in the Americas and EMEA regions, while seamlessly integrating online initiatives, social media activity, webinars, and in-person events into the community member experience. This position requires someone who can influence cross-functional teams while balancing operational execution with strategic vision.
About the Role ThreatModeler is seeking a highly organized, results-driven Field Marketing & Community Manager to plan and execute a comprehensive field marketing strategy aligned with revenue and pipeline goals.
Responsibilities
Field Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a quarterly field marketing plan in collaboration with field sales leadership to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
Plan and execute 2–3 major trade shows per year and 1–2 third-party-hosted events per quarter, ensuring ROI through high-quality lead generation.
Collaborate with BDRs and field sales teams to ensure leads are effectively followed up, nurtured, and converted into pipeline opportunities.
Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness and ROI of all field marketing investments.
Community Engagement & Brand Awareness
Relaunch and grow ThreatModeler’s online community, including strategy for content, engagement, and advocacy.
Drive global community engagement with a focus on the Americas and EMEA regions.
Partner with marketing to integrate social campaigns, webinars, and event promotions with community initiatives.
Foster relationships with customer advocates and industry thought leaders to drive community programming and amplify ThreatModeler’s brand.
Define and track KPIs for community success, including membership growth, engagement, content contributions, and advocacy.
Act as the point of coordination across marketing, sales, and BDR teams to ensure consistent messaging and unified engagement efforts across field and community campaigns and activities.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in field marketing, demand generation, or community management, preferably in B2B SaaS and cybersecurity.
Community Expertise: Proven success in launching and growing highly technical online communities, including engagement strategy, content planning, and performance tracking.
Event Experience: Demonstrated ability to plan and execute trade shows, webinars, and in-person events, including logistics, lead capture, and follow-up.
Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing teams while working cross-functionally with sales, BDRs, marketing, executive leadership, and third-party vendors.
Technical Comfort: Ability to understand technical topics and translate them into engaging content for both online and offline audiences.
Skills: Exceptional organizational, project management, and analytical skills; comfortable measuring and presenting marketing performance.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience.
Travel & Work Arrangement Hybrid role with flexible remote work, supporting global initiatives with focus on the Americas and EMEA. Travel required for 2–3 major trade shows per year and 1–2 third-party-hosted events per quarter.
