We are currently seeking candidates for a Sales and Marketing Specialist opportunity with a highly successful, growing manufacturing organization located in Providence County, RI. The Sales and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for performing key sales, customer relationship management, and project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have 2-4+ years of sales, business development, customer engagement, or related experience. This is a direct-hire opportunity, offering a base salary between $80,000-$90,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus and benefits. This role supports an onsite work model.
Responsibilities
Assist in identifying emerging market opportunities, and refining strategies to maximize profitability and engagement with new and existing customers. Perform prospect identification, develop and maintain customer relationships, conduct new project introductions, and evaluate pricing strategies. Partner with team members to identify, develop, and execute marketing strategy. Function as project manager for New Product Introductions (NPI), establishing timelines, meeting deadlines, and ensuring goals are met. Maintain and oversee key customer relationships. Update and maintain HubSpot (CRM). Apply inbound marketing strategies and marketing automation tools to optimize outreach and engagement. Define and execute distribution programs and appropriate channel initiatives. Prepare reports on business metrics as needed. Provide additional support as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and relevant sales/sales lifecycle/account management experience. Previous experience performing account management responsibilities, including building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Strong project management experience ideally within a sales capacity. Ability to establish, maintain, and optimize project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Excel, and PowerPoint). Previous experience with ERP systems. Experience with Global Shop Solutions is a plus. Experience utilizing CRM platforms. HubSpot experience a plus, but not required. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong active listening, problem-solving, and time management skills. Demonstrated interest in and ability to learn new information for current and future decision-making and problem-solving needs.
