We are seeking a

Interior Designer

to join the design team at

A2Z Builders . This role is creative, detail-oriented, and experienced, and will support residential and commercial projects—helping clients realize their vision while ensuring alignment with project budgets, timelines, and code requirements. As the third member of our growing design department, this position will contribute to an elevated client experience and support successful project execution through coordination with project managers, estimators, and field teams. Meet with clients during the pre-construction and planning phases to understand their vision, needs, and functional goals. Create and present design proposals, mood boards, and 3D renderings tailored to the client’s style and budget. Develop interior layouts, finish schedules, and material selections using design software. Collaborate with estimators and PMs to ensure selected designs align with insurance scope or bid requirements. Advise on material and product selections for kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, additions, basements, and commercial interiors. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for samples, pricing, and availability of finishes and materials. Ensure compliance with building codes, accessibility standards, and local regulations. Participate in construction walkthroughs and jobsite visits to verify design intent is executed properly. Upload finalized selections and design documentation to Leap CRM and communicate updates through internal WhatsApp groups. Support clients throughout the build process with change orders, revised selections, and design questions. Qualifications

2+ years of experience in interior design or a related construction/design field or educational field Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Revit, or similar). Strong visual communication skills (e.g., mood boards, finish palettes, renderings). Ability to work across multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience collaborating with clients, PMs, and subcontractors in residential or commercial construction. Strong understanding of material costs, timelines, and construction feasibility Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Comfort with CRM platforms (Leap experience a plus) and working in a team-based environment. Positive attitude, strong aesthetic sensibility, and proactive problem-solving approach. What We Offer
