Designers contribute to impactful work that supports sustainable communities—developing systems for wastewater, recycled water, and potable water treatment, conveyance, and storage. Key Responsibilities
Support the design of water and wastewater treatment systems Draft construction documents including plans, profiles, and details using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Assist with hydraulic modeling and calculations (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS preferred) Prepare technical exhibits, figures, and design layouts for reports and submittals Coordinate with engineers, CAD staff, and project managers to meet project goals Review redlines and incorporate markups from senior staff Assist with permitting documentation and regulatory compliance (SDWA, NPDES, Title 22) Participate in site visits and field data collection as needed Maintain organized drawing sets and contribute to QA/QC processes Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering, or related drafting/design field 3–10 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience preferred) Familiarity with water/wastewater systems and treatment processes Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design standards Effective communication and collaboration skills Desired Skills
Experience with hydraulic modeling tools (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater) Familiarity with wellhead treatment systems and sustainable design practices Exposure to permitting processes and environmental regulations Ability to mentor junior CAD staff or coordinate small design tasks Experience with Bluebeam and technical documentation tools Why You’ll Love Working Here

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $160,000.00/yr. Medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents: Two HSA programs with a $0 premium option, two PPO programs, and various dental plans Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for medical and dependent care Reimbursement for out-of-pocket medical expenses; up to $2,050 per year if on the company plan, up to $3,000 per year if not on the plan Reimbursement for personal wellness programs; $100 per quarter for personal wellness expenses Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for counseling, legal, and financial services Fitbit health incentive program; up to $300/quarter Workplace Type
