About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established leader in the building materials industry, is looking to add a talented
Truss Designer

Truss Designer
will be responsible for producing accurate and efficient designs that meet customer needs while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
Responsibilities Develop detailed layouts and structural plans using industry-standard truss software
Collaborate with sales, production, and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
Interpret architectural and structural drawings to prepare complete truss packages
Provide technical guidance to builders, contractors, and internal staff
Ensure designs meet all safety standards, building codes, and project requirements
Assist production teams with questions related to truss design details
Qualifications
Prior experience as a
Truss Designer
strongly preferred
Familiarity with MiTek, Alpine, or similar truss design software
Solid understanding of structural load requirements and construction practices
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
