Senior Product Designer (UI and Visual Design) Job at Solomon Page in Bothell

Our technology client in Bothell, WA is in search of a Senior UI Designer with a strong visual and product design background to join their team. You will work closely with a Design Director to shape the look and feel of native apps, ensuring usability and brand alignment. You will collaborate with UX and CX teams to deliver well-crafted features that meet business goals. This contract position is primarily on-site (Bothell), with occasional remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Design Director to enhance the visual design and storytelling of mobile responsive design projects
• Ensure design consistency by maintaining and evolving the design strategy and system
• Evaluate and provide feedback on UI and visual design to align with brand and digital standards
• Partner with UX and CX leads to prioritize features and ensure effective design execution
• Develop design concepts, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows
• Guide and mentor other designers while driving cross-functional collaboration
• Lead ideation sessions and design workshops to innovate new solutions
• Work with researchers to apply insights that improve the design and user experience

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years in product and visual design, with a focus on mobile apps (iOS, Android, React Native)
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design, mobile app experiences and strategic thinking
• Experience with design systems, brand alignment and scalable design for large user bases
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Adobe Design Suite, Rive, Mural/FigJam; Protopie experience a plus
• Strong understanding of UX best practices and interaction design
• A passion for creating exceptional user experiences and contributing to a collaborative team culture
