Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Customs Entry Writer at our Chicago, IL location. The Customs Entry Writer will be responsible for preparing and processing import documentation, facilitating communication between clients and customs authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Additional responsibilities include managing entry data, tracking shipments, and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience with import documentation, customs regulations, and compliance
- Skills in managing and organizing entry data and records
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle client communication effectively
- Proficiency in using logistics software and tracking systems
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Relevant experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus
