Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customs Entry Writer located in Wood Dale, IL. The Customs Entry Writer will be responsible for preparing and processing import documentation according to Customs regulations. They will handle customer inquiries, ensure compliance with relevant laws, and liaise with Customs authorities, importers, truckers, and freight forwarders. Daily tasks include data entry, classification of goods, and timely submission of Customs declarations. Great work environment. Come join our team!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import documentation in accordance with Customs regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Liaise with Customs authorities, importers, trucking companies, and freight forwarders.
• Perform data entry, classify goods, and submit Customs declarations in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Skilled in preparing and processing import documentation
• Familiar with Customs regulations and compliance standards
• Proficient in data entry and goods classification
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
• Experience with customs brokerage systems preferred
