We are looking for an experienced User Experience (UX) Researcher with a strong passion for outdoor activities, particularly fishing, to join our dynamic team. In this long-term contract role, you will contribute to the design and development of a mobile application tailored for the American fishing and outdoor community. Your insights will be instrumental in creating user-centered solutions that enhance the overall experience.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth user research to understand the behaviors, preferences, and challenges of the target audience.
• Design and execute user tests to evaluate the functionality and usability of the mobile application.
• Develop detailed user scenarios and personas to guide the design process.
• Analyze qualitative data to uncover meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
• Map user journeys to visualize and optimize the end-to-end experience.
• Collaborate closely with product designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure research findings are integrated into the design.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in UX research, particularly for outdoor and recreational apps.
• Provide clear documentation and presentations of research findings to support decision-making.
• Advocate for the user perspective throughout the development lifecycle to ensure a customer-centric approach.• Proven experience in UX research, with a focus on user testing and qualitative methods.
• Strong skills in crafting user scenarios, personas, and journey maps.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with mobile app development processes and user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication skills to present research findings effectively.
