Overview

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking an On-call Information Technology/ Audio Visual Analyst. This role combines technical expertise, analytical skills, and a focus on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within a wellness-focused property renowned for balance and care.

Location: Miraval Austin Resort and Spa, Austin, TX. Sector: Technology. Employment type: On-call / Casual, Hourly/Entry Level.

Responsibilities

• Configure, troubleshoot, and ensure AV and IT applications meet the needs of the organization.
• Setup, maintain, and break down audiovisual equipment for group events; coordinate with Sales teams and External Group Leaders to build setup packages.
• Collaborate with Department Heads to address issues and trends and implement solutions to improve guest satisfaction and experience.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest areas to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and service standards.
• Troubleshoot audiovisual issues in the local and networked environment; diagnose problems, identify root causes, implement solutions, and collaborate with third‑party vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in AV or hospitality with strong computer skills; 2 years of technical experience in hospitality preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with staff at all levels to ensure guest/colleague satisfaction.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, workstations), AV equipment and controllers.
• Professional demeanor with exceptional verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Flexible scheduling; weekends or on-call may be required.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand or reach with hands and arms; may sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
