We’re looking for a creative, organized, and strategic Content Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our content planning, asset creation workflows, and cross-channel storytelling. This role will lead the development of a cohesive content calendar, manage creative briefs, oversee organic and paid TikTok initiatives, and ensure all content aligns with our brand vision. You’ll collaborate closely with the design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to deliver compelling content that drives engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty.

About The Role

We’re seeking a candidate who can own the end-to-end content process across channels, maintain brand standards, and drive results through storytelling and optimization.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and manage the content calendar across social media, email, and other digital platforms, ensuring timely, consistent, and engaging storytelling throughout the year.
  • Plan monthly and seasonal content themes that align with business priorities, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives, while coordinating with cross-functional partners.
  • Lead TikTok organic and paid content workflows, including ideation, production oversight, posting schedules, performance analysis, and ongoing creative optimization.
  • Write detailed, actionable creative briefs for social posts, email campaigns, paid ads, and website banners that set clear objectives, brand tone, and asset specifications.
  • Partner closely with the creative team to review, provide constructive feedback, and approve content, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards and performance goals.
  • Support social media marketing by aligning content themes with posting schedules, engagement tactics, and channel-specific best practices.
  • Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to develop campaign concepts, brief creative assets, and refine messaging for engagement and conversions.
  • Coordinate with e-commerce to deliver website content updates and participate in DTC testing initiatives to improve user experience and sales performance.
  • Maintain an organized digital asset management system to track, archive, and provide easy access to approved creative assets for all stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines in every piece of content across all channels to maintain a cohesive, recognizable brand presence.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, or digital marketing roles.
  • Proven success managing a multi-channel content calendar for both brand storytelling and conversion-focused initiatives.
  • Strong ability to create clear, concise, and results-driven creative briefs and provide actionable feedback to creative teams.
  • Experience with TikTok (organic and paid), Instagram, and email marketing platforms, with an understanding of best practices and trends.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Bonus: experience with paid social strategy, e-commerce marketing, and A/B testing methodologies.

Leapfrog is currently operating under a hybrid work model. This position will report on-site to our Lincoln Park office at least 2 days per week. Additional in-office days may be required based on business needs. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with a hybrid work model.

Salary Band

80-95K plus bonus, full-time, salaried, exempt, hybrid. The pay range for this role is 80,000 - 95,000 USD per year (Chicago, IL).
