Luxury Fashion and Timepiece Manager – Jared Jewelers – Willowbrook


Reports To: General Manager or Assistant General Manager in their absence


Basic Function: The Luxury Fashion and Timepiece Manager is a supporting management position within Jared The Galleria Of Jewelry stores. This position will achieve store and individual sales goals by providing superior guest experience and expert knowledge on all fashion merchandise (diamond fashion, gold, and color) and timepiece brands. This position will oversee fashion and timepiece sales performance, merchandise launches, product education provided by Signet, and develop training plans to improve opportunities for the store as a whole.



Minimum Requirements



  • Meet or exceed three of the five performance standards, with sales one of them.

  • No Code of Conduct written counseling within the past six months.

  • DCA certified.

  • Minimum six months with company or equivalent experience.

  • Completion of Minimum Training Requirements training module and passing quiz.



Responsibilities



  • Serve guests and promote store and personal sales (40% time).

  • Consistently attain sales and performance standards, special events and store promotions.

  • Promote total guest satisfaction by prioritizing the guest’s jewelry needs.

  • Provide exceptional guest experience by aligning with the guest’s agenda and following up via Clienteling system.

  • Monitor guest flow and assign the appropriate team member.

  • Supervise fashion merchandise categories and timepiece brands; train team members on merchandise and timepieces.

  • Oversee implementation and administration of merchandise, promotions, launches, visual merchandising; attain knowledge across store categories.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all merchandise; train team members on features, benefits, warranties, services, and procedures.

  • Coordinate with vendor partners; complete trainings and incentive submissions for the store.

  • Review weekly reporting and coordinate with management to improve training and guest experience.

  • Collaborate with General Manager on recruiting, scheduling, performance appraisals, and communications.

  • Address guest complaints promptly in partnership with General Manager.

  • Assist management in their absence.

  • Other essential responsibilities: adhere to core values, maintain regular attendance, follow policies, participate in loss prevention, perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands


Stand for long periods; reach with hands and arms; move among display cases; handle merchandise; sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; lift up to 10 pounds; good vision for distinguishing merchandise.



Work Schedule



  • As required by the store, including evenings and weekends.

  • Three nights per week or as required by the General Manager.

  • Sunday on an alternating basis or as needed.

  • Store hours during Special Events and peak selling times.
