The ideal Designer Salesperson is passionate about fashion, enjoys working one-on-one with customers and thrives in a sales environment.

A day in the life includes setting and achieving sales goals in-store and via digital selling, building lasting relationships with customers, delivering service on customers\u2019 terms, and providing honest feedback on style and fit.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals, for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools (including text and social media).
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide the best service to customers on their terms.
• Provide honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit.
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise.
• Work with the team to keep the department customer ready, including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
• The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs.
• This role may require flexibility to perform work/duties in a department other than the one hired into.
