Graphic Design Tutor role at Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company. The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students for online sessions nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Tutor online in Graphic Design, delivering personalized instruction to students.
• Set your own hours, tutor as much as you’d like, and schedule sessions through the platform.
• Be matched with students best suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Use the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely; no commuting required.
• Receive AI-powered assistance through Tutor Copilot to generate lessons and engagement features.
• Invoicing: you invoice for tutoring sessions; Varsity Tutors handles payments; payments issued up to twice per week.
• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, up to $40/hour with same-student sessions.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Graphic Design and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
