Overview
Liquified Agency is looking for a part-time creative, detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Annapolis, MD. This part-time role will grow with the mentorship of other agency team members, with the intention of moving into a full-time position. We are not looking for freelancers to apply at this time.
Responsibilities
- Research target audiences, industry trends, and social opportunities.
- Assist in developing monthly content calendars tailored to each client’s goals and platforms.
- Create and edit engaging video and photo content optimized for IG, FB, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more.
- Support influencer and partnership outreach to grow reach and credibility.
- Manage publishing and scheduling through Hootsuite (or similar platforms).
- Write clear, creative copy for social posts, blogs, and brand content.
- Respond to reviews, comments, and messages across platforms, fostering community and brand loyalty.
- Monitor analytics and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure all content follows brand voice and social guidelines.
- Execute optimization tasks (e.g., updating alt tags, hashtags, cross-platform adjustments).
- Track and update online listings, event calendars, and community groups.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align content with broader marketing objectives and campaign launches.
- Audience Engagement: Monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, and fostering a positive online community.
- Social Listening: Help identify trending conversations, participate in relevant discussions, and track audience sentiment to inform content strategy.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in social media coordination, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong understanding of social media best practices and community building across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X/Twitter, and Snapchat.
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt to different brand voices.
- Experience creating and editing video content using tools like CapCut (or similar).
- Confident using an iPhone for photography and video production.
- Familiarity with social media KPIs, analytics, and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to juggle multiple projects.
- Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
