About the Role
Curve USA is looking for a highly skilled and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence for a newly acquired corporate account (confidential during transition). This role requires someone with a deep understanding of the U.S. market, advanced expertise in content strategy, analytics, and paid campaigns, and a proven track record of driving engagement, growth, and measurable ROI across platforms.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, managing brand voice, overseeing content production, and ensuring campaigns align with the client’s business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a results-driven social media strategy.
- Manage day-to-day operations of all major platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.).
- Create and oversee high-quality content calendars, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with creative, copywriting, and video production teams to deliver engaging, on-brand content.
- Lead paid social media campaigns from strategy to execution and optimization.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze KPIs, and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.
- Engage with online communities, foster meaningful interactions, and maintain a strong brand presence.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, competitor strategies, and emerging digital technologies.
- Manage budgets for paid campaigns and ensure maximum ROI.
- Provide thought leadership and guide junior team members where applicable.
Top Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Professional social media management experience, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record of scaling social media presence and achieving measurable business outcomes (engagement, follower growth, conversions, brand awareness).
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategy, paid campaigns, analytics, and brand storytelling.
- Deep understanding of the U.S. audience and cultural trends in social media consumption.
- Experience working with corporate, B2B, or industrial clients is a strong advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, HubSpot, Meta Business Suite).
- Skilled in using ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads integration for social).
- Ability to craft engaging narratives across different platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
Requirements
- Must be based in Columbia, Maryland, or the nearby DMV area (Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia), with the ability to attend in-person meetings as required.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to align social media with broader marketing objectives.

- Comfortable leading high-profile corporate accounts with professionalism and discretion.

Portfolio Requirement
Applicants must submit a portfolio of past social media work, including:
- Examples of content calendars or campaigns they managed.
- Case studies showing measurable results (engagement, growth, conversions).
- At least 2–3 examples of paid social campaigns (strategy, execution, and results).
