Social Media Coordinator Job at Rahua Beauty in New York

JOB DESCRIPTION

Rahua Beauty is seeking a creative, beauty-obsessed Social Media Coordinator to lead our presence across Instagram and TikTok. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes beauty, wellness, and culture—and knows how to translate that into scroll-stopping content that builds community, drives engagement, and brings our rainforest-powered story to life.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation & Strategy

• Concept, create, and publish engaging daily content across TikTok and Instagram (video, Reels, Stories, carousels, etc.)
• Stay on top of beauty, lifestyle, and cultural trends—adapting them in fresh, brand-right ways
• Develop monthly social calendars and campaign ideas aligned with launches, partnerships, and seasonal moments.

Community Engagement

• Actively engage with followers, respond to DMs/comments, and foster brand love.
• Partner with our influencer and PR team to amplify key voices and moments.

Analytics & Growth

• Track KPIs, performance metrics, and insights to optimize growth and engagement.
• Report weekly learnings and adjust strategies accordingly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to support launches and campaigns.
• Occasionally assist with office needs such as managing product returns, inventory for influencer send-outs, or event prep.

Who You Are

• 2–4 years of experience managing social media for a beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brand (agency or in-house).
• Skilled in video editing (TikTok native tools, CapCut, or similar) and content production.
• Strong eye for aesthetics, storytelling, and on-brand visuals.
• Must be comfortable on-camera for content creation
• A trend-spotter: you know what’s happening on TikTok/IG before it’s mainstream.
• Organized, flexible, and willing to jump in where needed to support a growing team.
• Passionate about clean beauty, sustainability, and bringing brand values to life online.

Benefits & In-office Requirements

• The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.
• This role is hybrid; 3 days in office in Noho
