Overview
The Video & Multimedia Student Worker is responsible for providing videography/edited video of events or general student life at North Central College as well as motion graphics for social media. Applicant must have flexible hours and be “on call” within specific time frame/dates for events as needed. This position will not have a set number of hours weekly, but based on needs. Videos will be used for marketing efforts and social media.
Duties
- Attendance to events that are scheduled with the Senior Director of Institutional Branding and Video & Multimedia Student Worker
- Provide final edited video files after the event based on deadlines provided by the Senior Director of Institutional Branding
- Create and design motion graphics for social (e.g., sticker gifs, video intros, general social posts)
- Have a cooperative attitude and willingness to take art direction and listen to feedback on edits
- Remain professional while working and on campus

Job Qualifications
- Create and edit video content for social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram)
- Create and design motion graphics for social and video using AfterEffects
- Knowledge and ability to shoot video using own equipment or equipment from the Marketing Office.
- Possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere/Adobe AfterEffects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Regular availability on nights and weekends
