Our client is a NYC based AI start up that built an AI platform tailored to help financial firms fully automate complex workflows. Today, institutions spend most of their time gathering data and creating first drafts before refining their decks, models, and pitches. Our client significantly reduces the time invested in these manual tasks, allowing teams to focus on what is important, while also gaining new insights from financial-focused AI. This small, ambitious team is composed of passionate members all wearing multiple hats, across engineering, design, sales, infrastructure, or product; they’re looking for individuals who match this versatility and adaptability. This team brings together diverse backgrounds, including experience at major financial institutions, big tech companies, AI startups, and successful early-stage ventures. They’re in need of a founding UI/UX Designer to work hybrid in NYC and help shape the future of their design identity.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine end-to-end user experiences for complex financial workflows
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
• Conduct user research to inform design decisions and improve usability
• Work on marketing design assets as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align product design with user needs and technical feasibility

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally with AI fintech products
• Understanding of financial workflows (e.g. investment banking, private equity)
• Strong command of design tools such as Figma
• Proven ability to conduct user research, build prototypes, and translate ideas into polished designs
• Portfolio demonstrating end to end design focused on fintech or AI powered products
• Must be located/authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship or transfer now or in the future. No C2C inquiries, please

The Offer

• Compensating $110,000–$140,000, depending on experience
