Description

We are building the next generation of development tools to explore how LLMs can enable new ways of thinking, building, and collaborating. This role focuses on designing and prototyping interactions with LLM-driven tools and agentic systems, and communicating compelling concepts through visuals and demos.

What You’ll Do

• Design and prototype new interaction patterns for LLM-driven tools and agentic systems
• Bring novel concepts to life with interactions and visuals that demonstrate possibilities
• Polish and structure demos so ideas are easier to evaluate and share
• Help shape internal understanding of how humans can and should collaborate with AI tooling

Impact

Your work will surface where LLMs can meaningfully change how Amazon engineers build software. You’ll help the team identify promising opportunities and where to push beyond existing knowledge.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of design experience
• 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer
• Have an online portfolio available
• Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, or related tools)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of mass-market consumer web/mobile product experience
• Experience working in a collaborative team and partnering with developers for implementation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year to $184,000/year, depending on location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company; equity, sign-on bonuses, and other benefits may be provided as part of the package.
