What You’ll Do You’ll lead the design and execution of innovative interior environments — engaging with clients, managing projects, mentoring teams, and owning the design journey from vision to closeout. This role blends creativity and strategy with technical depth and project management. Design & Documentation Drive the full design process: visioning, programming, concept, schematic, DD, CD, and CA Develop functional, human-centered, and aesthetically engaging spaces Lead space planning, adjacency diagrams, and interior architecture layouts Design custom millwork, ceilings, lighting, and integrated systems Create finish palettes, select materials, and specify FF&E with purpose and style Develop and present compelling visuals Prepare Revit-based construction documents with accuracy and detail Author and review CSI MasterFormat specifications Ensure code compliance, accessibility, and system coordination from start to finish Construction & Administration Represent design intent during construction through site visits and coordination Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and issue sketches and addenda as needed Manage budgets, timelines, teams, consultants, and client expectations Collaborate seamlessly with architects, engineers, and contractors Manage resources, and oversee deliverables from kickoff to completion Build and maintain long-term client relationships Inspire and coach junior designers with thoughtful feedback and guidance Foster a positive, collaborative, and creative team environment Contribute to studio culture, thought leadership, and continuous learning What You Bring Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Interior Design program or related degree including Interior Architecture. 8+ years of design experience, with project leadership and a strong portfolio Proficiency in Revit, Enscape and/or Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and MS Office Deep understanding of interior systems, codes, ADA, and detailing Strong graphic and visualization skills (hand sketching or digital — you know how to tell a story) Proven ability to manage projects from vision to construction closeout Experience with FF&E specification, procurement, and coordination Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills — clients love working with you Organized, proactive, self-directed — and always up for a design challenge NCIDQ preferred or demonstrating pursuit of same. Deltek experience a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
