Global Sr. Manager, Experiential & Content Production - Government Affairs

This role focuses on experiential live event and content production with Government Affairs expertise, coordinating with artists, Comms, Content, Brand, and Advertising teams to execute Spotify IRL activations. The producer will develop off-platform experiences that connect creators and artists and/or brands with fans globally, and bring Spotify to life on the live stage and through activations. What You’ll Do
Produce live experiences (concerts, performances, events, experiential installations) for Spotify, artists, and/or brand partners for audiences of fans, industry, influencers, and press Lead planning, production, and execution of live events with objectives specific to each initiative Build and manage production budgets and oversee event timelines, vendor relationships, and approvals Directly manage and support a team of vendors and freelancers across multiple executions Build, manage and execute the production and show schedules for each live event or content shoots Demonstrate a strong understanding of the production process with experience working with cross-functional partners Own: pre-production planning, on-site execution and logistics, and post-production reconciliation for medium to large-scale complex executions Know best-in-class stage production vendors and personnel and select the best options for each initiative Understand print and fabrication processes for activations and maintain a broad network of partners Contribute a creative point of view, pushing boundaries for innovations and elevating current output Develop and manage creative timelines and budgets, and coordinate creative traffic between departments Collaborate with the creative team to provide feedback and ideas to improve and elevate concepts Deliver on time and within budget Work with internal stakeholders to translate concepts into reality Navigate projects at various budget points and negotiate with vendors while maintaining high standards Who You Are
You know how to build brand experiences and produce short form content You have 10+ years of event, content, and show production experience You have experience working in government affairs and understand the political environment and cultural differences You have embassy or consulate experience and bring a nuanced understanding and creative skill set You can translate brand needs into experiential activations or a visual story You bring a visual point of view to bringing ideas to life You have examples of creative or project management work you can share Your attention to detail and ability to multitask are core strengths You have created and produced live events on small and large scales You have experience working with clients at top brands, including executive teams You understand staging, lighting, and branding from a production perspective You understand artist needs and the artist booking process You have a global mindset and experience working with vendors and teams across offices and timezones You can influence and negotiate effectively You can autonomously manage and scale local to global productions that deliver on business needs You engage stakeholders in event development and drive the story and creative vision You can blend creativity with strategic thinking and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills You have strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiencies (Bonus)
Bilingual in English and one of: Spanish, French, or Portuguese The role requires significant travel (domestic and international) approximately 30-50% Where You’ll Be
This role is based in NYC We offer flexibility to work from home with some in-person meetings The United States base range for this position is $171,693-$195,000, plus equity. Benefits include health insurance, six-month paid parental leave, 401(k), 23 paid days off, and 13 paid flexible holidays. Seniority level
