Overview

Sr Marketing Specialist, Digital at American Public Media Group (APMG). Responsible for planning, supporting, and executing growth marketing strategies to grow audiences across the APMG portfolio, including MPR News, The Current, YourClassical, APM Studios, Marketplace, and more. Requires solid B2C digital marketing expertise and proactive optimization of campaigns aligned with departmental and enterprise priorities. Responsibilities

Develops strategies to grow digital audiences and achieve business goals Plan and execute marketing campaigns with partner agencies or using self-serve tools like Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads Manage tracking systems for marketing tactics, monitor performance, and report on outcomes Use audience and campaign data to inform strategies Support growth-focused tactics, including A/B testing, SEO, influencer campaigns, organic social campaigns, web promotions, and more Keep teams informed of important creative, media, and business updates related to brands/programs Monitor budgets, billing, and production activity on projects and communicate status to supervisor Develop and share marketing best practices and project learnings with the wider team Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field Minimum of 5 years’ marketing experience Experience implementing multi-dimensional digital marketing projects Experience learning and using a range of digital marketing tools Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge of marketing strategy and digital marketing tactics with demonstrated expertise in at least three areas (e.g., paid social, paid search, conversion marketing, influencer marketing, digital media planning, content strategy, YouTube marketing, A/B testing, SEO) Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads Knowledge of Google Analytics and other digital metrics; ability to create dashboards and reports in PowerPoint and Excel Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly Copywriting/editing for social/digital channels Strong verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects with initiative and independence Professionalism, accountability, and resilience Strong organization and planning skills with attention to detail and deadlines Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Enthusiasm for the mission of American Public Media Group Preferred Skills and Experience

Familiarity with creative development processes and providing feedback to creative teams Experience with content creation tools (CMS, image/video editing) Experience with Google Search Console Experience working with cross-functional teams Experience managing multiple portfolios Location

Expected compensation range: $70,000 – $85,000 annualized. Exact salary determined by experience, education, location, and internal equity. Application Deadline
