News Director & Sports Broadcaster – KCNI/KBBN, Broken Bow

What You’ll Do:

Anchor 3 daily newscasts (Mon–Sat) + 5 public affairs programs weekly

Cover breaking news, local meetings, community events, and post stories to SandhillsExpress.com

Play-by-play or color commentary for high school sports: football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, golf, cross country & more

Contribute to Nebraska Cornhuskers coverage as an official Huskers Radio affiliate

Assist with live shows, remote broadcasts, severe weather coverage & station operations

Use audio, video & digital tools to enhance storytelling and sports coverage

What We’re Looking For:

Knowledge of broadcast & web-based journalism principles

Comfortable on-air with news, sports, and live hosting

Ability to research, fact-check & deliver accurate, engaging stories

Team player ready to wear many hats in a dynamic, small-town radio setting
