Overview
Senior Communications Specialist at Kraft Heinz, Chicago, IL. The Senior Communications Specialist will be a key member of the Kraft Heinz Corporate Communications team, supporting corporate communications activity including media relations and social media across global and North America initiatives. The role reports to Global Corporate Communications and collaborates with Global and North America Zone leadership. Responsibilities
Assist with developing and executing communications strategies and activation plans around key corporate projects. Partner with team members and stakeholders to plan and execute corporate communications initiatives reflecting the company’s core values and business strategy. Act as a member of the integrated storytelling team, supporting story mining and development to communicate priority stories across channels, including pitching to national media and deploying on corporate social media and internal channels. Support development and execution of communications strategies globally and in North America, including innovation announcements, manufacturing operations, digital transformation, financial communications, and sustainability initiatives. Assist with Executive Visibility plans, positioning company leadership and subject matter experts as leading voices externally (e.g., LinkedIn). Support project management for Corporate Communications projects, including timeline development and ensuring checkpoints are met. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive best-in-class communications; manage relevant partner/vendor relationships. Contribute with a proactive, collaborative, and non-hierarchical culture of safety and trust; be willing to roll up sleeves to learn. Qualifications
3+ years of working experience in Communications (consumer organization or agency preferred). Bachelor’s degree in Communications or equivalent. Media strategy and media relations proficiency. Experience with social media strategy, writing and reporting for social media, especially for executives. Executive visibility plan development and execution. Strong written and verbal communications skills to engage senior leadership, external media, and key partners. Strong project management skills with ability to build and track timelines and move projects forward. High integrity, compassionate orientation, and collaborative team player; willingness to challenge the status quo. Food & beverage/CPG experience is a plus. Location

Full-time Compensation and Benefits
New Hire Base Salary Range: $88,000.00 - $110,000.00. Bonus eligibility based on plan terms.
