Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer to create, modify, and manage a wide range of technical and strategic documentation. This role requires an expert with a strong background in cybersecurity, capable of translating complex concepts into clear, concise policies, procedures, and strategic plans. The ideal candidate will be a proficient communicator, able to present and explain complex technical products to executives and other high-level stakeholders while ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.
Technical Writer/Editor Job Duties:
Write, modify, and maintain policies, technical documents, strategic plans, and designs.
Develop cybersecurity operations and procedures.
Present and explain technical products to executives and other stakeholders.
Oversee and ensure the quality and accuracy of all technical documentation.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on documentation best practices.
Security Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret (S) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements: Requires eight (8) years of prior experience writing policies, technical documents, strategic plans, designs, cybersecurity operations and procedures, as well as presenting and explaining those products to executives. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions within a small team environment and possess strong communication skills.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
Desired Skills / Qualifications: Certifications such as CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, and CCISO are highly desirable. Candidates should have a strong background in cybersecurity documentation and a proven ability to present complex topics to executive leadership.
Location: On-site in Philadelphia, PA
Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
