Job Title: Senior Social Media Content Creator

Department: Creative/Brand

Reports To: Vice President of Marketing

FLSA Status: Exempt

Compensation Base Range: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 Annually

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We're looking for a highly creative, organized Senior Social Media Content Creator to lead day-to-day social media execution across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Reels & TikTok. This role will partner with our Senior Social Media Manager to deliver platform-optimized content that aligns with brand objectives, drives engagement and stays true to REP's core messaging.

You're the perfect fit if you're great at creating punchy, relevant short-form content, love experimenting with emerging formats like AI, and can balance creativity with data-driven insights. You have a strong eye for visual storytelling, love experimenting with new ideas, and can balance creativity with data-driven optimization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Content Creation, Engagement & Growth:

  • Own end-to-end creation of short-form, platform-optimized content (Stories, Reels, Carousels, etc), while staying aligned with REP brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for mobile-first viewing, adheres to best practices and stays ahead of relevant social trends.
  • Deliver engaging content that supports audience growth and engagement on core platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & YouTube.
  • Foster community through engaging content on our private Facebook Group.
  • In collaboration with the Partnerships team, support creative input/insight within our influencer briefs to generate UGC content worth sharing & growing our audience on TikTok & Instagram.
  • Partner with event teams to create on-the-ground, engaging content from activations, athlete appearances, and large-scale events.

Strategic Partnership:

  • Work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to ensure creative content supports all campaign objectives, KPIs and brand growth.
  • Deliver creative ideas during campaign planning sessions, leveraging insights from trends, audience behavior and competitive analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (product, partnerships/athletes, creative) to translate brand stories into compelling social storytelling.
  • Support apparel and Purist content as needed, though equipment focus will always be primary

Measurement & Trends:

  • Partner with Senior Social Media Manager to review performance metrics, extract insights and refine creative approaches.
  • Measure best in class and competitor trends to optimize against best performing content.
  • Understand algorithms, platform trends and experiment with formats, posting schedules and boosting content to maximize reach and engagement.

TRAVEL:

  • 5 planned trips to major events
  • Additional travel as needed for activations and content capture

  • Passion for fitness, performance, or community-led brands is a strong plus.
  • Actively stay up with trends on social to know what is working, and a self-learner via YouTube/forums/social.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, ideally at a consumer brand with demonstrated success of growing followers & overall engagement.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video, photography & storytelling, as well as examples of brand social media growth.
  • Experience with editing software such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Studio or Final Cut Pro.
  • Ability to shoot high-quality mobile-first content (lighting, audio, composition, etc) - both photography & video.
