What You'll Do

As a

Marketing Experience and Data Coordinator , you'll support Kirkland & Ellis' leading Corporate Finance practice within our Marketing & Business Development (MBD) Department. In this role, you'll play a critical part in capturing, organizing, and presenting the Firm's deal and case experience in a marketing-ready format that showcases our market leadership.

You'll enhance the Firm's experience databases, ensure accurate recognition in industry league tables, and track company and industry data to strengthen pitches, client presentations, and digital presence. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with attorneys, business development colleagues, and international marketing professionals-becoming a trusted resource in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role is based in a hybrid work setting, combining in-office collaboration with flexibility. Research & Analysis

- Conduct in-depth research on the Firm's corporate finance transactions across industries, geographies, and deal types using internal and external platforms. Data Management

- Interpret, analyze, and export data for diverse stakeholders while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strategic value. League Table Tracking

- Audit and update data with external vendors to maintain the Firm's strong positioning in industry rankings. Marketing Support

- Produce tailored pitch materials, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and client presentations that highlight the Firm's strengths. Content Development

- Maintain and update information on practice areas, industries, and attorneys for marketing initiatives. Database Management

- Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of the Firmwide experience database. Market Intelligence

- Conduct company and market research to support broader business development strategies . What You'll Bring

Education

- Bachelor's degree required. Experience

- 2+ years of relevant professional experience preferred, ideally in capital markets/debt finance, business development, financial services, or project management. Research Expertise

- Familiarity with platforms such as CapIQ, ThomsonOne, Bloomberg, Mergermarket, Pitchbook, Refinitiv, and The Deal Pipeline. Technical Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint); ability to create high-quality materials using PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Contact Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as InterAction or Salesforce is a plus. Communication & Collaboration

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and colleagues at all levels. Critical Thinking

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial and legal concepts into clear, actionable insights. Project Management

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to change. Attention to Detail

- Exceptional editing, proofing, and data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and quality. Professionalism

- Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and a polished, client-service-oriented demeanor.

Compensation

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in Chicago. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. We offer an exceptional range of flexible benefits including comprehensive healthcare, paid time off, and retirement. Compensation Range:

Chicago: $72,000 - $81,000
