Overview
Product Marketing Director, Meta Horizon Economy. Meta Reality Labs is on a mission to build the next computing platform by putting people at the center of emerging hardware and software technologies. We envision a metaverse that is the next generation of the internet—a more immersive, 3D experience. The core platform that enables this is Meta Horizon, for embodied experiences that make distance feel smaller and moments feel bigger. Meta Horizon encompasses Horizon experiences and worlds, Horizon OS, and the Horizon creator and developer platforms. This role helps Meta Horizon establish the core flywheel of consumer and creator value across VR and mobile Horizon products, including the Horizon Store, Meta Avatar wearables and digital goods, and platform quests and rewards. The right candidate is a strong collaborator and communicator, able to work across multi-disciplinary teams and translate business opportunities into partner-driven strategies. They should have data-backed frameworks for prioritizing investments and be capable managers of managers and individual contributors who are passionate about shaping social experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead a high performing team of product marketers, managing performance and supporting career development
Manage product marketing strategy and execution for Meta Horizon economy product experiences
Partner with product leadership to influence product and business strategy based on customer and creator needs and market opportunities
Manage and maximize ROI of a budget to support the VR and mobile content ecosystem
Collaborate with key stakeholders to advance project milestones and drive product-market fit, including prioritizing audience use cases and identifying key markets
Design and lead go-to-market and growth strategy, communications, and execution with Product Management, Marcom, Communications, and Product Growth teams
Build productive internal partnerships, resolve conflicts, build alignment, and execute strategy across teams
Minimum Qualifications
15+ years of experience in marketing, product management, management consulting, business strategy, or a related field
10+ years of experience in product marketing developing go-to-market strategies and partnering with product teams
Experience managing a high volume of complex programs with significant self-direction
Experience creating market requirement documents, including audience definitions, positioning statements, and value propositions
Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, adapting, spotting issues early, and escalating as needed
Experience building partnerships with Product Management and cross-functional teams to shape multi-year roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
Experience launching and scaling products and bringing them to market
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and drive solutions within a measurable, data-driven framework
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or related Masters degree or equivalent experience
General manager experience driving business growth
Experience managing virtual economies or storefronts in games, gaming, or consumer mobile apps
Experience leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams across regions
Domain knowledge in metaverse, social gaming, AR/VR, wearables, and related platforms

Compensation Base pay range: $232,000/yr – $296,000/yr + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed reflect base compensation and do not include bonus, equity, or incentives where applicable.
