Overview Product Marketing Director, Meta Horizon Economy — Meta

Meta Horizon Economy is building the core flywheel of consumer and creator value across VR and mobile experiences, including the Horizon Store, Meta Avatar wearables and digital goods, and platform quests and rewards.

Responsibilities

Lead a high performing team of product marketers, manage team performance, and support career development and growth

Manage product marketing strategy and execution for the Meta Horizon economy product experiences

Partner with product leadership to influence product and business strategy with a view of customer and creator needs and market opportunities

Manage and maximize the ROI of a budget to support the VR and mobile content ecosystem

Collaborate with key stakeholders to advance project milestones and drive product-market fit, including prioritizing audience use cases, needs, and identifying and sizing key markets

Design and lead go-to-market and growth strategy, communications, and execution with Product Management, Marcom, Communications, and Product Growth teams to achieve business goals

Foster productive internal partnerships, influence, resolve conflicts, build alignment, and work across teams to execute strategy

Build a trusting, inclusive organization that values diverse perspectives

Minimum Qualifications

15+ years of experience in marketing, product management, management consulting, business strategy, or a related field

10+ years of experience in product marketing developing go-to-market strategies and partnering closely with product teams

Experience managing a high volume of complex and ambiguous programs with significant self-direction

Experience creating market requirement documents, including audience definitions, positioning statements, and value propositions

Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, adapting, spotting issues early, and escalating when needed

Experience building partnerships with Product Management and cross-functional teams to shape multi-year product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies

Experience building, launching, and scaling products and bringing products to market

Experience identifying and analyzing complex, long-term problems and driving solutions

Demonstrated balance of creative and analytical thinking with data-driven execution

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or related Masters degree or equivalent experience

General management experience driving business growth

Experience with virtual economies or storefronts in games, gaming, or consumer mobile apps

Experience leading and motivating a diverse, multidisciplinary team across regions

Domain knowledge in metaverse, social gaming, AR/VR, wearables, and related platforms

Compensation Base pay range: $232,000/yr – $296,000/yr plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
