The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online Advertising tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in Advertising to students.
  • Leverage the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely.
  • Prepare tailored lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Use AI-powered Tutor Copilot features to enhance instruction and save prep time.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in Advertising and ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.

Compensation and How It Works

  • Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with the same student over time.
  • Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions and invoicing.
  • Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
  • Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform — no commuting required.
  • We handle the logistics; you invoice for sessions and we process payments.
  • AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features.

How to Connect With Students

  • 1-on-1 Online Tutoring: Provide personalized instruction to individual students.
  • Instant Tutoring: Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you’re available.

Please note: Varsity Tutors does not currently contract with tutors in: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Puerto Rico.
