Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.
• Deliver personalized instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
• Utilize the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely.
• Incorporate tools such as the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions and save prep time.

Compensation and Logistics

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and may increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40/hour with repeated sessions with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• We handle the payments and logistics; you invoice for tutoring sessions.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Technical Writing and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
