Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties — Support research and contracts within the Hub for Food Systems Communication and Engagement. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Interfacing with industry partners and interdisciplinary researchers
  • Event planning for stakeholder engagement workshops
  • Mentoring undergraduate and graduate researchers
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research (data collection, analysis, and interpretation)
  • Writing research manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication

Requirements and Preferences

Work Schedule: 5/hrs per week between 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday

Other Work/Responsibilities: n/a

Minimum Experience/Education:

  • Ph.D. (or relevant terminal degree), or Relevant Master's degree with at least 5 years of formal post-degree professional work experience

Department Required Skills:

  • Experience with qualitative data analysis coding software (ex. MAXQDA, Dedoose, NVivo)
  • Experience with SPSS or related quantitative analysis software
  • Experience writing academic manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:

  • Experience conducting focus groups and/or stakeholder engagement work

Required License or Certification:
